Again, it happened.
On Saturday, park rangers found more human remains in the lake. There is no cause of death being investigated.
This is the fourth grisly discovery of the like since May, when boaters discovered a human body stashed inside a barrel in an area where water had fully subsided.
A third body was discovered in July, a few days after the body was found.
It's fair to say that even more remains could soon be found as Nevada's long and persistent dry spell continues.
Millions of people in several desert states rely on the lake as their main source of water.
The waterbody has recorded lows due to the ongoing dry spell. According to NASA, the lake has reached its lowest water levels since the 1930's, currently holding just 27 percent of its water capacity.
There are other major sources of water in the area that are drying up. Utah's Great Salt Lake has reached troubling lows which could have dire environmental consequences.
Climate change is coming for us all if the plight of these once magnificent lakes is any indication. That's true for anyone who dumps a dead body into the lake.
A fourth set of human remains was found at the lake.
