Sean McVay said he signed a contract extension this offseason. He said the Rams are still working on GM Les Snead’s deal.

When the Rams complete a deal with Snead, they will announce his extension.

The Rams won the Super Bowl for the first time in 19 years. The team made it to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row. His contract was due to end in 2020.

There had been rumors that McVay was interested in becoming a broadcast journalist. McVay told Adam that he was committed to helping the Rams defend their title, and that he wasn't interested in any television opportunities.

He didn't complain that his new contract didn't come together quickly. He told Gary Klein of the LA Times at the start of training camp that he was in a good place. An extension is more than likely to happen before the start of the regular season, according to McVay.

McVay has become one of the best coaches in the NFL in a short period of time. He was the coach of the year in his first season. Los Angeles made four appearances in the playoffs under McVay. He has a record of 5-5 in the playoffs.

McVay began his career as an offensive assistant. He joined the Washington organization two years later in the same position and began his rise on the coaching ladder, serving as the team's tight ends coach.

McVay knows his time as head coach won't be forever. He wanted to start a family and spend time with them before the Superbowl.

"I know I love football, and I'm so invested in this thing, and I'm in the moment right now," he said. What do you want to be able to do? I want to have a family and I want to spend time with them.

Los Angeles will continue to be one of the most competitive teams in the league with McVay in charge.
