The false talking point that pits the Department of Justice against parents is being revived by Republicans who are angry with the FBI.

The raid was described by Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin as "stunning" and the DOJ labeled parents in the county as terrorists.

The highest-ranking Republican in the House made a similar claim about Attorney General Garland.

He told them to understand the history. It was one year ago that Garland used the act against parents.

Republicans have said that the Biden administration and Democrats have branded parents who protest at school board meetings as domestic terrorists since last year.

Garland called on the FBI to investigate illegal threats against school leaders who were facing protests over face mask mandates, controversial books, and the teaching of race and gender in schools.

The National School Boards Association apologized for asking the feds to step in.

The Department of Justice was not compared to the threats by the NSBA.
