Continuing with Barbie's 60th anniversary celebrations, Mattel has just unveiled a special "BMR1959" collection which sees the famous character and her friends dressed head-to-toe in streetwear-inspired fits.

The collection is comprised of four female dolls and two male dolls with different colors of hair, eyes and skin, along with different body types. Each doll is dressed in variations of bright hoodies, overalls, jackets and shorts, which have then been paired with eccentric accessories, fresh kicks, and bum bags. The dolls are then packaged with a custom display stand inside a streetwear-style custom shoebox with a sketch and designer signature printed on the lid.

"BMR1959" is said to be focused around "self-expression and personal style" and was led by Carlyle Nuera, lead designer for Barbie Signature.

Barbie's "BMR1959" collection is available now via Mattel's online store. The dolls are priced at $29.99 USD each.

A special pop-up will also be taking place Wednesday, October 30 on Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles at 3 p.m. PST. The first 100 people in line will receive their very own doll.
