The veteran outfielder has found a new home in the same division.

Bradley is going to sign with the Toronto BlueJays, according to Ben Nicholson- Smith.

Bradley was in Boston for the second time after being acquired along with two minor leaguers last December as part of a trade with the Milwaukee Brewers for Hunter Renfroe. He played in the Red Sox lineup for three years.

Bradley was selected to the All-Star team in 2016 and received a Gold Glove Award in the same year. He helped lead Boston to a World Series title that year.

Bradley's struggles at the plate this season made keeping him on the roster difficult. At the time of his release, he was making $9.5 million on the contract he had signed with Milwaukee, while hitting.210 with three home runs and 29RBI in 92 games.

He had some nice stretches at home. "Obviously, he struggled towards the end," said Alex. He wasn't able to hit the ball the other way consistently. There weren't a lot of strikeouts. There were a lot of ground balls towards the end. It didn't work out well on the offensive side.

The Blue Jays are in second place in the American League East with a 60-47 record. George Springer is on the injured list with an elbow injury.

Bradley should fill in until Springer returns, and once that happens, he can provide some outfield depth for the BlueJays as they chase a wild-card spot.
