England's Rachel Daly joins Aston Villa ahead of the new Women's Super League season

England international Rachel Daly has joined the women's team.

Fresh from becoming a European champion with the Lionesses, Daly joins from Houston Dash in the United States for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal.

The 30-year-old is going back to England, where she has played for three different teams.

The left-back for the Lionesses at this summer's Euros has previously been used further up the pitch.

This is a big signing for us, and one we've worked hard to complete. Rachel is a prolific scorer.

She showed us that she is a player that we need in our team.

She is a forward and we can't wait to see her score.

The WSL season begins with a trip to BRIGHTON on September 11.
