The Moon mission doesn't give up.

NASA's Artemis I Moon mission is set to launch on August 29 after a long, winding series of delays.

The website crashed after the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex made launch spectator tickets available to the public.

"This is an historic mission, and there was significant traffic to the website when tickets became available at 11 am on August 2," Rebecca Burgman said. The team was able to quickly address the initial delays.

Quick Fix

It didn't take long for tickets to be back online after the site issue was fixed. Officials are urging ticket holders to sort their travel arrangements as soon as possible because tickets are going fast.

Peter Cranis, executive director of Florida's Space Coast Office of Tourism, said that many beachside hotels are already sold out for the Artemis launch attempts.

"There will be a lot of traffic before and after the launch, so visitors should make sure they have taken any pre-trip bathroom breaks, stocked the car with snacks or ways to entertain children, and packed their patience," said Cranis.

If you're one of the many space enthusiasts traveling to witness the Space Launch System, you'll probably have to fight your way through some serious traffic.

Prepare to drink little to no liquid and pack some juice packs.

You will be watching history. Traffic will feel like a small price to pay after seeing the SLS lift off.

The launch date for the massive moon rocket has been confirmed.
