John Easterling said that his wife died of cancer at the age of 73.

Conn told "Good Morning America" that she had spoken to her costar a couple of weeks before her death.

Conn said that she told him that she was no longer walking and that she had full-time care. She said her husband and daughter were so devoted that they were there all the time.

Conn recalled howNewton-John would always point her hands out to the audience when she sang her hit song.

The Frenchy actor remembered her singing. I think that's how I'll remember her, because she would put her hands out to her audience to sing "I honestly love you." We will love her as well.

Conn said thatNewton-John sent her an apple plant after she found out that she was sick.

Conn thought of his friend when he saw the plant that had lost all its buds.

Following her death, many other "Grease" costars paid homage to her.

"I don't know if I've ever met a lovelier human being," said Stockard Channing, who played Rizzo in the show. When I think of her, I think of her warmth, her grace and her sunniness.
