Bengals' Paul Brown Stadium to be Renamed to Paycor Stadium After Naming Rights Deal

The Cincinnati-based human capital management software company purchased the naming rights for the building affectionately known as The Jungle and will now call it Paycor Stadium.

The stadium was named after Paul Brown, who was the president of the team from 1968 to 1991. Mike Brown spoke about his father's changes.

My father would have approved of this move. Brown said that he was always for what was best for the football team. The partnership allows the team to compete at the highest level in the league and exemplifies our commitment to the community.

Paycor has been the sole HR software provider for the Cincinnati Reds since the naming rights agreement was signed.

The stadium will be home to Paycor branding in the coming months. In celebration of the naming rights deal, the two sides will have a preseason ceremony.

Brown confirmed the team's intentions on July 25th, noting the endeavor would help the team amass funds for other goals.

According to Paula Christian, PJ O'Keefe and Christian LeDuc of WCPO 9 News made the determination that it would cost nearly half a billion dollars to maintain the Bengal's stadium over the next two decades.

In April, the city council gave the go-ahead for the interim indoor facility. The team is looking into a permanent indoor home.

Thanks to stars such as quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, the Bengals are sitting in a wide-open championship window. Cincinnati had a chance to win its first Super Bowl last season, but it fell short.

The first regular-season game in Paycor Stadium will be against Pittsburgh in September. The game is scheduled to start at 10:00 pm. The name of the stadium will be Acrisure Stadium.
