Burger King mistakenly sent dozens of people, including some who have never ordered from the fast-food giant, blank receipts at midnight

Dozens of people received empty order receipts from Burger King.

People took to social media to say they were reassured that they were not the only ones affected by the glitch.

Customers who ordered from Burger King received an email thanking them. The list of items, location, total cost, and payment details were all blank.

The people from the UK and the US received the email. The emails are believed to have been sent at 12 pm. On the west coast it was 9 pm and on the UK it was 5 a.m.

Some of the people who received the emails said they had never ordered from Burger King and were confused as to how their email addresses were obtained.

Burger King did not respond to the question of what caused the glitch.
