A white version of the controller is being worked on by Microsoft. There is a white face plate and black grips on the video of the new controller. The white controller was spotted at a retailer in the US earlier this year.

Someone claims to have obtained the white Xbox Elite 2 controller in the US in a short video uploaded to a YouTube account. Three weeks ago, this video was posted on social media. It is not known if the controller was sold at a US store or if Microsoft is still planning to announce a white controller.

After leaked images of a second-generation Elite controller, Microsoft announced a white version of its original controller. Microsoft will be at Gamescom later this month, the same event the company chose to announce its white Xbox Elite controller at last year.

The Xbox Elite controllers have been well received, but have had issues. The warranty on the Xbox Elite 2 controller was extended by Microsoft. The warranty period was extended to a year from the day of purchase.

Ahead of official announcements, Microsoft has leaked the controller before. A white version of the controller was online before Microsoft acknowledged it. The packaging for this controller was leaked a month later and confirmed by Microsoft.

The adaptive controller was leaked before it was announced. We reached out to Microsoft to let them know about the leak and will let you know when we hear back.
