Burger King sent a blank email receipt to thousands of customers. The Burger King customers were confused about whether the company had been penetrated by a hungry hacker or if the emails were simply a giant whopper of a mistake.

Some people received two Burger King emails in an apparent double whopper of a mistake as they turned to the social network in a state of confusion. Burger King's main promotional email address was used to send the order emails.

We have reached out to the company to explain the random midnight burger emails. A lot of people who have received the emails don't remember creating a Burger King account so it could be a system change that went wrong and blasted out blank orders to Burger King's entire marketing database
