Trump says FBI raiding his Mar-a-Lago home

Trump said that the FBI was raiding Mar-a-Lago, the former president's resort home.

In a lengthy statement, Trump said his residence is currently under siege and occupied by FBI agents.

Trump said that the raid was not announced and that they broke into his safe.

My home in Palm Beach, Florida is currently under siege by a large group of FBI agents. This is the first time in the history of the United States that something like this has happened to a president. This raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate after I worked and cooperated with the Government agencies. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who don't want me to run for President in 2024, and who will do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections. It would only be possible in Third-World countries. America has become corrupt at a level unseen before. My safe was broken into by them. The difference between this and Watergate is not clear. The Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President.

The persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for a long time. Political targeting is at the highest level.

After they were subpoenaed by Congress, Hillary Clinton was allowed to destroy her E-mail. No one has held her accountable. Antique furniture and other items were taken from the White House.

I stood up to America's bureaucratic corruption, I restored power to the people, and delivered for our country like never before. The establishment didn't like it very much. They are trying to stop me and the Republican Party once more as they watch my endorsed candidates win big victories. The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt needs to be exposed.

NBC News reported that the former president wasn't at Mar-a-Lago when the raid took place.

The Attorney General was criticized by a number of liberals for not pursuing investigations of the former president after the raid.

There are probes at the state and federal level about Trump. The DOJ is looking into the events leading up to the January 6, 2021, riot, when a mob of Trump's supporters invaded the Capitol and delayed the confirmation of President Joe Biden's Electoral College win.
