The boss of a US low-fare carrier said it's necessary to hire more people because of the high rate of people leaving the industry.

Thousands of travellers have been hit by recent disruption due to staff shortages that have hampered the re-start of air travel after the Pandemic.

Last-minute cancelations have been made by airlines.
