Sen. Lindsey Graham said Biden deserves credit for passing bipartisan legislation on guns and infrastructure

Lindsey Graham said that his former Senate colleague, Joe Biden, deserves some credit for his accomplishments.

During an appearance on CNN's "State of the Union", host Dana Bash asked the South Carolina Republican if he thought Biden deserved some credit for working across the aisle to pass legislation.

Yes." Graham called out the gun reform bill and the infrastructure bill, saying that they made sense.

Graham praised the way the lawmakers and others have worked together across party lines while he was on CNN.

Common ground has been found on foreign policy. He said he was working with Liz Warren to create a commission to deal with social media issues. There are a lot of people up there who work together. All is not lost in Washington, that's what I want the nation to know.

Biden has signed a number of bills. Biden's first major legislative victory was the passage of the $1 trillion infrastructure bill.

Following mass shootings in Uvalde, Texas, and Buffalo, New York, Congress passed the most significant gun reform in decades.

Graham has been critical of the Democrats' $740 billion climate, healthcare, and tax package. All 50 Senate Republicans opposed the bill.
