The man is remembered for his eight season stint as a helicopter pilot. Calvin in the original Magnum, P.I. died on Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, after sustaining injuries from a car collision in August. The man was 83.

His daughter wrote that he was surrounded by family. It was impossible to mourn such an amazing man. He wouldn't want anyone crying in his name. He left a legacy for us all. I am very fond of you father. You were fond of me as well.

I am strong, even though my heart is heavy. She said she would care for her for almost 60 years. She is in good hands thanks to you. It's good to rest easy.

Roger E. Mosely was born in Los Angeles on December 18, 1938. The Streets of San Francisco, Kojak, Night Gallery, That's My Mama and Switch are just a few of the TV shows and films that Mosely has appeared in.

In that year, Mosely appeared in a movie. He played a boxer named Sonny Liston in a movie called The Greatest.

The Magnum, P.I. ran through 1988. You Take the Kids, Rude Awakening, and FCU: Fact Checkers Unit all starred Mosely as a regular. He guest starred in a number of shows, including Starksy and Hutch, Night Court, and Walker, Texas Ranger.

His last TV appearance was on the remake of Magnum P.I.

He is survived by his family.
