At this year's Comic-Con, there was no mention of Eternals, but the voice of Pip the troll may have spilled the beans on a sequel.
Oswalt talked about his role in the superhero film in an interview with The Today Show in August. There will be a sequel to Eternals. There is going to be a director. Hopefully, there will be more adventures of StarFox and Pip.
The Multiverse Saga was announced by the studio, but there hasn't been any official word on Eternals 2. Captain America: New World Order is one of the upcoming projects. Where would Eternals 2 fit in with all the other movies in the works?
At September's D23 expo, there is a chance that we will learn more about the projects. The Eternals are in thecosmic section of the MCU. Arishem zapped Eternals away with him into space. Now that they've left Earth, they are in the company of other space-faring heroes
The post-credit scene suggests that Eternals 2 will deal with Arishem's judgement of humanity. The fact that Marvel has filed to trademark the title Celestials: End of Time suggests that we will get more action soon. They might finally address the fact that there's a half-born Celestial on the Earth.
There's a chance it's not a title for new comics that don't tie into the MCU. Keep an eye out for more information about Eternals 2 at D23 now that Oswalt has let the cat out of the bag.
