Rick Sanchez in an episode of Rick & Morty, walking through a field.

Rick and Morty have only gotten into bigger, stranger adventures over the course of the show. Each episode made it clear that Rick has messed up the power he has over his grandson. The dynamic of the show has changed many times, with season five ending with a fight that doesn't like it can be willed away.

The season six premiere is a month away. The first tease of the new season is short, but offers some pretty interesting teases about where things will go for this year's batches of episodes. Eyepatch Morty takes a yellow portal gun and goes through it to find a universe where Rick isn't the smartest person. You can't help but explore what else is out there when you leave an infinite crib built around an infinite baby.

There is a brief tease of something growing in an egg inside the Citadel as it is about to blow up during season five's finale. The tease links back to the show's website, which is counting down to the show's September 4 return, and a song called "Wormageddon."

A big-ass worm being born as a space station is about to blow up feels like what you would expect. It will be interesting to see if the worm will become a bigger issue for the characters later in the series or if it will be a joke. You can't tell until someone announces a spinoff or it gets killed.
