The luxury hotel brands try to be different. They partner with other luxury brands on their toiletry and skincare lines. I don't think it's a bad idea to pick a hotel brand based on what they have to offer, but I think a lot of people do the same.

I wanted to share my favorite hotel toiletry brands in this post, and I am curious to hear what readers think of them. My rankings are based on my perception of products and brands, from the packaging to the scent to how I use them. Please don't ask me to defend my preferences since I'm not claiming any authority with my opinion.

I am not the only one who is excited about some toiletry brands. Ritz-Carltons usually use the purple water line. I don't know why, but the bathroom products don't help me. They are completely fine and unmemorable to me.

Below are some of my favorite toiletry brands.

Le Labo at EDITION & Park Hyatt

Le Labo is one of the most popular toiletry brands for hotels. The branding on the bottles reflects that, and I really like how there are different scents. I like the scent and it seems to be a bit mild.

Remède at St. Regis

Remde products are available at a lot of properties. Since the scent and feeling of using it isn't really agreeable or neutral, this is probably the most controversial product line you'll find at a big hotel. I really like it. Remde products feel like washing your hair with toothpaste. The body wash has beads in it for removing dead skin cells. I don't understand why people don't like these products.

BVLGARI at various hotel brands

The packaging, scent, and feeling of using them are all things I love about the brand. There is not a lot of consistency as to which hotels have the same type of bathroom products. As you would expect, the hotels have these products, but they are a small hotel group. At a number of Four Seasons, Rosewood, and more properties, you will be able to find BVLGARI bathroom products.

Acqua Di Parma at various hotel brands

One of my favorites hotel toiletry brands is Acqua Di Parma. There isn't a major hotel group that consistently stocks these products, but they're common enough among hotel groups that I feel good about including them on the list. Remde is the standard toiletry line of the St.

Salvatore Ferragamo at Waldorf Astoria

Most of the time, the Tuscan Soul line is used at the Waldorf-Astoria properties. I like the scent of this brand because of the associations I have with it.

Singapore Airlines used to give first class passengers amenity kits that included a full bottle of cologne. I flew from Los Angeles to Tokyo to Singapore and back to pick up six bottles of cologne, which was more or less paid for the award ticket, given how cheap it was back in the day.

Molton Brown at various hotel brands

I like the soap made by the company. Most Marriott Luxury Collection hotels have at least one Molton Brown product.

MALIN+GOETZ at Le Meridien

I wanted to add a toiletry brand from a more mid-range hotel brand to this one. It is my favorite line for upscale hotels.

Bottom line

Hotel toiletry lines are some of my favorites. You can see that some are frequently offered at some hotels, but not at others. The toiletry brands I am most excited to see at hotels are the ones that my opinions are wrong for.
