Bandai Namco has released new gameplay footage of Vegeta in its upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game. In the footage above, we see Majin Vegeta before and during a pivotal battle against Majin Buu from the original manga and anime. The six-minute video shows the open world of the game, how scavaging is paramount for collecting health items, and of course, its high-octane battle mechanics.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will have a Deluxe Edition that comes with a season pass (with two more story episodes to come) and a deluxe cooking item. The game will also have an Ultimate Edition that comes with all of the above, as well as a music pack with 11 new songs and Tao Pai's (Mercenary Tao) flying Pai Pillar. Lastly, its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One-exclusive Collector's Edition will contain a hardcover game art book, steel bookcase, and diorama figure.

Check out the latest trailer above and grab Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot for PlayStation, Xbox One, and PC January 17.
