After working with the likes of LeBron James and NYC MetroCard, RIMOWA has now partnered with DIOR on a capsule collection of luggage and handbags to present a luxe travel range for the season. In conjunction with the release, Dior has launched an airy pop-up in Paris that frames the pieces with several globe-trotting props, including a real helicopter that's been wrapped in RIMOWA's signature aluminum gray colorway.

The assortment includes "Cabin" and "Trunk" suitcases for more standard-sized traveling options, as well as the "Hand Case" carrier for a smaller storage option. Pieces are coated in silver, matte black and gradient blue, and have each undergone an intensive process that allows the Dior Oblique Motif to be inscribed directly onto the aluminum. Bringing in an additional colorway is the "Personal" portable case, which is constructed with a leather cross-body strap and offered in pink to provide the brightest pop to the mix. Meanwhile, the "Champagne Case" bottle holder finishes out the selection with an exclusive, special-order item.

The Dior and RIMOWA pop-up is open now at the Dior Store on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, where the collection is available for purchase. It will be on view until November 13.

In other RIMOWA news, the brand recently released a set of iridescent iPhone Cases and luggage options for Holiday 2019.
