North Korea offering 100,000 troops to help defeat Ukraine, Russian state media says

According to Russian state media, North Korea has offered 100,000 volunteers to help win the war in Russia.

According to the New York Post, there are reports that 100,000 North Korean volunteers are prepared to come and participate in the conflict.

The North Korean military has a lot of experience with counter-battery warfare, according to the newspaper.

According to military magazine 1945, effective counter-battery warfare is more important to the Russian military now that the US has donated a dozen high mobility rocket systems to Ukraine.

The argument was made that Russia should welcome the North Korean troops.

"If North Korea expresses a desire to meet its international duty to fight against Ukrainian fascism, we should let them," he said, according to the New York Post.

The Council for Foreign Relations says that North Korea's military is the fourth largest in the world. Reserve soldiers are 600,000.

According to the CFR, defense experts say it operates with old equipment.

According to a South Korean newspaper, North Korea has offered up workers to help rebuild Russia after the war in Ukraine.

If Russia wins the war, DailyNK reported that North Korea will send more than 1,000 workers to eastern Ukraine.

The war isn't over yet and the government is planning to send workers at an appropriate time.
