Warren was suspended last week for refusing to enforce some of the state's laws.

"We don't want people in one part of the state to have veto power over what the rest of the state does," he said.

According to Insider's Kim Leonard, the letter Warren signed stated that he wouldn't enforce laws against trans care for children. The state doesn't have a law prohibiting care for children with gender dysphoria.

Warren called the ban on abortion after 15 weeks unconstitutional.

Warren said the move was an illegal overreach that continued a dangerous pattern of using his office to further his own political ambitions.

Phang asked Warren if there were any limits to his discretion as a prosecutor.

Warren said that this wasn't about anything that he had done. This is about my words. I signed on to value statements that expressed my opposition to the legislation that was being considered and passed.
