The New York Jets are located in New Jersey.

There is 1 a. The team's motto is "all gas, no brake" and they don't take a day off. It's all gas, no break.

The right tackle, whose weight fluctuated in the off-season, showed up to training camp in better shape than he had been in the past. On a hot day in the first week, there were a couple of wobbly moments, but the team kept going.

It's no small feat for a man with his size and history to achieve that. Teammates say he appears more determined than ever, and that he wants to make skeptics eat their words. This is an early win for the Jets and they have a lot of football to play.

The fact that he is grinding through makes it uncomfortable for him. He is getting better everyday. Every day he gets more confident. I'm very happy with the direction he's going in.

It's important that finishing is done well. The 2020 first-round pick has started 14 of a possible 33 games but can't complete six because of injuries. He is able to move people in the running game when he is on the field. The Jets are riding with him because they passed up the best tackles in the draft.

The Jets don't seem to worry about him playing the right side in a zone-blocking system because he is learning a new position and a new scheme. You have to be prepared for some growing pains.

He is special. Mekhi is the only thing that could ever stop him.

1c. Are you going to need help on the way? The Jets hosted a free agent tackle at the scrimmage. The Jets see him as a backup swing tackle, even though he has started 203 games at left tackle. He was a starter in 17 of the 18 games he played for the Seattle Seahawks last season. He would be this year's MorganMoses. The current backups aren't ideal.

There are two The young buck is the wide receiver, who has all sorts of talent, but he was lulled when the pads went on. The defensive backs are more physical at the line of scrimmage.

The former Ohio State star is very focused on himself. He is frustrated if he does not come down with a ball. He said he held himself to a high standard. It can be a double sword. You want a player who wants to be great, but you don't want him to press. Some of his teammates are helping him navigate the rough patch.

There are three. Is it possible to trade? When trading starts to heat up, the Jets could become a popular team because of their depth at wide receiver. Both the Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys have lost key players to injuries so they could be looking. There is a trade candidate that would be obvious. It could be a numbers game as he is having a good camp. He's no better than fifth or sixth right now.

Mims claimed that he is deserving of a starting role. If they play me or not, it's up to them. Someone who isn't happy in a backup role.

There are four. Do you think you'll paint Canton green? If Darrelle Revis and Joe Klecko are selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, there will be a Jets presence in Canton next summer. Klecko and Revis are both on the modern-era ballot for the first time, which raises the question of whether the Jets could be chosen to play in the 2023 Hall of Fame game. They haven't played in the game in 22 years.

To create a fantasy football league you want to play in, you need to choose your league size, score, and rules.

It's free to create your own league.

The senior committee will cut the 12 to three on August 16. The full committee will approve those three in January. There is a feeling that Klecko has a lot of support among senior voters.

There are five. The Jets' defensive line is going to be a big problem for opposing teams during the preseason. Last year they carried at least nine into the season. It's difficult to steal a spot from another position when you have three quarterbacks.

I think they have a dozen roster-worthy linemen. One of them is a well-respected leader with a great story, but he might not make the team because of the numbers game.

There are six. The Jets want to see Wilson improve in the red zone. Wilson responded well to the sticking point in the first few practices. This is an area of focus. You should consider:

Wilson had six touchdown passes in 48 dropbacks in the red zone. Mike White scored five times in 13 dropbacks. The league average was 16.

The action is fast and the windows are small, but the good ones find a way.

There are seven. Is there a leak or no leak. It's fair to question the state since the Jets lost their best run stopping defensive lineman in free agency. The numbers were skewed by long runs, according to the man. They finished in the top half of the league based on their efficiency.

He's correct. The Jets ranked 13th in run- stopping success rate, which is based on the down-and-distance. Reducing the number of runs can be a way to change the game.

There are eight. One of the early surprises in camp is newly signed linebacker Kwon Alexander, who showed up in excellent shape for someone who hadn't been with a team in a while. He has been a coach on the sideline and on the defense. He just broke a sweat before giving scheme tips to Quincy.

Alexander is in a good position to win the third linebacker job. The Jets used three 'backers only 30% of the time last season, so you wonder if they will find a way to give Alexander more playing time in the nickel package. He is making it difficult to keep him off the field.

There are nine. The Jets are trying to understand why the Buccaneers let safety Jordan Whitehead go. They're happy with him because of his ability to make adjustments before the snap. The entire team watched one of those plays.

There are ten. The best defense in the league has to be the expectation. If you're going to say third is cool, what is the point of showing up to the race?
