According to Mark Gurman, Apple has started to record its virtual September event, where it is expected to announce the upcoming iPhone 14 lineup, the Apple Watch Series 8 and a new "rugged" Apple watch model.
Gurman said in his newsletter that the event, which is expected to take place in the early part of September, is already under production, suggesting that Apple is planning another virtual, pre- recorded event.
It's not clear if Apple will resume full in-person events for the launch of its flagship phone this year. There was a limited in-person crowd at Apple Park to watch the pre-recorded keynote and have hands-on time with the new products.
The last few years Apple has held two events in the fall. The new iPhone and Apple Watch will be the focus of the September event.
We could see two events in the coming months because Apple has a long list of products it wants to launch this fall. Apple is going to announce a new iPad Pro, the second- generation of the AirPods Pro, and more.
