The new version of Meet is rolling out via the Play Store. If it goes live for everyone, the icons for each app will be displayed. Meet will take your call to a third-party app if you want to share your session on any of these apps.

A string of code that was spotted by 9to5 suggests that the upcoming capability will only be available on the most popular phones in the world. It is not clear how Meet will share content with other call participants that do not subscribe to the service. There is an option to pause or resume content that is being shared.
