Tucker is the newest addition to the SeattleMariners roster. According to MLB.com, the team announced on Saturday that he will be a regular attendant for the team's home and away games.

Seattle adopted a dog from OkanDogs Dog Rescue. Tucker arrived at the rescue center in the summer. Tucker had to go through an in-depth scouting process before he became a team member.

Jack Mosimann made the 212 hour car trip to acquire the free agent after Tucker made it through the procedure.

We ran people in there and checked them out. Jack entered there. There are big numbers on this dog. He was drafted high. Scott Servais told MLB.com that they were happy to have him as a free agent.

Before the team adopted Tucker, Servais and his wife volunteered for Okan Dogs. They have been involved in animal activism for a long time. "Bark at the Park" nights are hosted by the Mariners at T-Mobile Park.

Tucker made friends with the players quickly. The pitcher took a picture of the dog and posted it on his Facebook page. J.P Crawford was excited for his new teammate.

The last American League wild-card spot is currently held by the SeattleMariners, who have a two-game lead over Baltimore. Tucker can add some fun to the late-season grind despite the high stakes of the game.

The little guy is a pleasure to be around. Our players are looking forward to it. It is a distraction for them in the club house. The little guy is loved by the people.
