After the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2022, the attention will shift to the HOF Class of 2023.
Cornerback Darrelle Revis, offensive tackle Joe Thomas, and a pair of defensive front-seveners in Dwight Freeney and James Harrison are all rookies on the ballot.
HOF finalist status was earned by a number of players last year, but not all of them made the final cut. They'll be back in the mix in a couple of years.

Darrelle Revis is a player.
The term "Revis Island" was used to describe Darrelle Revis' coverage. He was the catalyst for the New York Jets to make the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, and he was also part of the team that won the Super Bowl in February of 2015.
He made seven Pro Bowls and was an All-Pro four times. He's a member of the Hall of Fame's All-2010s team, and it's a matter of time before he's allowed in the building. It should be right away.
Hester is a wide receiver/PR.
Hester returned 20 punts or kicks to the house for scores. He scored on a 92-yard kick return to open Super Bowl XII. He returned a missed field goal for a touchdown against the Giants.
Even though he didn't get a Hall of Fame seat last year, he was still a force to be reckoned with and should get one soon. There is no debate on the subject of Hester being the best at returning kicks and punts.
The OT Joe Thomas.
When Joe Thomas was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2007, he fished at home in Wisconsin. He made 10 Pro Bowls and six All-Pro teams over his 11 seasons.
From 2007 to 2016 Thomas was the starting quarterback for the Browns. Left tackle was never a problem for the team because they had the best one on the field every Sunday.
He should be a first-ballot Hall of Famer this year because he was one of the best to ever play his position.
LBZach Thomas.
He did well as a fifth-round draft pick. The seven-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro played in the National Football League from 1996 to 2008, with his final season being with the Miami Dolphins.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame All-Decade Team member led the league in tackles two times. The Dolphins were.500 or better in all but three of his seasons because of this middle linebacker who was one of the best defensive leaders in football.
The LB Patrick is from the United States.
After a toe injury ended his eighth and final season in the NFL, Patrick was able to play seven full seasons in the league. He stood as the epitome of excellence at the position.
He made seven Pro Bowls and five All- Pro teams.
The 49ers enjoyed a lot of success under the direction of Willis. San Francisco won one of the three games they played. The 49ers had the lowest points allowed per year.
