Cameron Norrie to face Daniil Medvedev in Los Cabos final

"I wanted to win that one because Felix has gotten me before," Norrie said.

In the past, I had match points, so I was thinking about that. It's always hard.

His next opponent, Russian Medvedev, is playing in his first tournament since June after an injury.

It will be his fourth final of the year, after he beat Ke cmanovic.

He will go into this month's US Open as the world's number one ranked man.

The defending women's US Open champion was defeated by a Russian.

Last year's grand slam winner was hoping to reach her first semi-final.

The 21-year-old will play Wang Xiyu in the semi finals after beating two-time Australian Open winner.

Kaia Kanepi will face Australia's Daria Saville in the other semi- final.

Evans was beaten by Japan's Nishioka in the quarter-finals.

Nishioka has won all five of their previous meetings.

Nishioka will play Rublev in the semifinals. Russian Rublev played two games on Friday in a crowded fixture list caused by rain delays.

Australia's Wimbledon runner-up Nick Kyrgios will play Sweden's Mikael Ymer in the other semi- final.
