The update is now available in the US

As the summer winds down, we're very close to the final release of the operating system. The point of platform stability for the Pixel devices is only a small part of the puzzle, as evidenced by the fact thatSamsung is getting in on the action with OneUI 5beta.

The company's home country of South Korea, as well as Germany, have begun to receive the new version of the mobile operating system. A version number of S90xBXXU2ZHV4 can be found on the first OneUI 5beta. Some of the best phones from the company will come with the new version of the operating system.

There are changes that can pull text from an image that can be shared. It's similar to Apple's Live Text, which was launched with the new mobile operating system.

The OneUI 5beta program is limited to the S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. It will take a bit longer for owners of the Z Fold 3 to get their hands on the latest version of the operating system.

Some features won't work right in the program. This is the case with the OneUI 5 alpha. It is not likely that contactless payment will work with the new version of the software. Some functions of third-party apps might not be available.

Over the next few days, we'll learn more about the changes to the software. It is possible that the next version of its software will be introduced during the event.

If you want to get ready for the OneUI 5 program to land in the US, you'll need to download the SAMSUNG MEMBERSHIP APP. This is the app required to register for the program, but we aren't expecting this to be a wide release at the moment. It's always a good idea to back up your data as there's a chance that your phone won't work correctly when it's using a new software.

The update appears to be available in the US. The full list of countries that are eligible for the update can be found on the website. The changelog is lengthy and the update comes in at nearly 3 gigabytes.

"Optical Character Recognition" is one of the notable features in the changelog.
