The cheapest version of the ninth- generation iPad is currently discounted to $399 at Walmart. The iPad has more than enough power for any app, even though it uses a different type of processor. The display looks great. The 3.5mm audio jack is a key selling point. We don't know if the next entry-level iPad will have a headphone jack or not, but there is a rumor that it will.
