According to Musk, he lives in a three-bedroom house that is worth $45,000 in South Texas. In November, Musk said that he had been living in a house in South Texas and that small homes felt more home.
Musk gave more information on a Friday episode of The Full Send. He doesn't have a main residence, but he stays in the 800-900- square-foot house.
He said his friends come and stay and they can't believe he's in this house.
The home in South Texas used to be a two-bedroom but was converted to a three-bedroom when the billionaire bought it.
It is half a mile from the South Texas rocket factory where Musk can walk.
Insider's request for comment made outside normal working hours was not responded to by representatives for Musk.
The tiny homes made by a Las Vegas company cost less than Musk's home.
In November, Musk said that he had been living in a $50k house in South Texas for two years, but that it wasn't a Boxabl.
As Insider reported in November, Musk has been unloading a property portfolio worth millions of dollars. He promised in 2020 to sell most of his possessions.
Musk said he usually goes to sleep at 3 a.m. and wakes up at 9 or 10 a.m.
