Eileen De La Cruz was a guest at the hotel and she told Insider that she saw security running in the casino.
We tried to go to the strip, but they wouldn't let us out. They didn't say anything when we asked what was happening. She said there weren't any announcements that asked them to stay in their rooms. She said she didn't see anyone leave on the stretcher.
It was not clear if the lock down had been lifted.
Ronald Hohmann, who was in The Mirage at the time of the incident, posted a video of uniformed officers moving through the building.

There was a video that showed a group of law enforcement officers.
Crowds of people were held near one of the entrances of the hotel.
The second and eighth floors had been blocked.
Police cars were parked outside of the hotel.
The crime scene tape in front of The Mirage was taken down, and guests were being allowed back in, after 8 News Now reported at 11pm.
Representatives for The Mirage did not reply immediately.
