Ahmaud Arbery Murderers' Hate Crime Conviction Upheld

The 3 men found guilty of Ahmaud Arbery's murder were rejected by a federal judge.

They were found guilty of killing Ahmaud based on his race and abduction. The judge used social media posts from the defendants to deny the motion.

The judge pointed out that Gregory McMichael had made derogatory comments about a Black tenant.

Whatever they get in the federal case is more symbolic than anything after their Georgia murder convictions. Bryan was given a life sentence with the possibility of parole.
