The 2022-23 soccer campaigns across Europe are upon us, so which teams will win their leagues, which ones will be relegated and who will take the Champions League title? Getty

The 2022-23 European soccer season will start soon, with teams still fine- tuning their squad during the transfer window. From the two-horse race in the premier league, to a new attacking rivalry in El Clasico, to the French champion, Paris Saint-Germain, our insiders share their picks and predictions.

The winner of the Golden Boot will be decided. The winner of Europe will be crowned. Who will get the most cards?

The writers made their predictions.

LaLiga

The top four of all time.

The summer transfer window has been a huge success for Barcelona. Xavi's first season as coach was promising and now he has the tools at his disposal to take Barcelona back to the top. Real Madrid won't be far away but a repeat of last year's near- perfect season feels unrealistic. This time around, the focus should be on the quality of the teams rather than the distraction of the competition.

1st place: Barcelona 2nd place: Real Madrid 3rd place: Atletico Madrid

4th place: Villarreal

The top scorer of all time.

A man named Robert Lewandowski. There is some competition for Benzema. Real Madrid's captain top scored in LaLiga last year with 27 goals, nine more than nearest rival Iago Aspas, but that's a league tally Lewandowski has topped in six of his last seven seasons at the club. Benzema won't give up his title without a fight and their rivalry will be fun to watch.

There is a relegation.

There are also Real Valladolid and Almeria. The squad hasn't made any significant improvements this summer, despite the fact that they only survived by one point last season. The promoted side, Girona, should score enough goals to stay up, but Real Valladolid are likely to be in trouble. Manager Rubi will come under immediate pressure if the team starts poorly.

The best keeper.

The man is Thibaut Courtois. Bono won Spain's Zamora trophy for the lowest goals-to-games ratio last season, but Courtois was the best keeper in the country. Those of us who'd watched him perform miracles all year were no different. Real Madrid's defence should get better with the addition of Antonio Rudiger.

Yellow cards are the most popular.

Valencia and Getafe were the dirtiest teams in LaLiga last year. The replacement for Bordalas at Mestalla Stadium has a similar mentality. If we're going to pick one player, let's go for Getafe's Urugayan full-back Damian Suarez, who has been one of LaLiga's funniest hard-men for years now.

The winner of the European football tournament.

It's hard to overlook the two best teams in the world: Manchester City andLiverpool. Despite their quality and depth, City's ability to choke in the latter stages of this competition is inexplicable given their quality and depth. They have the experience and the coach to go further.

There is a reason why he has the team finishing sixth in the league.

Premier League

The top four of all time.

It's difficult to see either Manchester City orLiverpool dropping out of the top four, which would leave two spots for the other teams. Spurs have spent well this summer and have had the benefit of a full preseason under Antonio Conte, andChelsea still look strong despite something of a chaotic off-season They will run them close, but the top four will be made up of Man City andLiverpool.

1st place: Manchester City 2nd place: Liverpool 3rd place: Spurs

4th place: Chelsea

The top scorer of all time.

There is a man named Harry Kane. He's a proven goal scorer and a master at getting the best out of his centre forwards, which is why he's a proven premier league goal scorer and a master at getting the best out of his centre forwards, which is why he's a proven premier league goal scorer and There will be lots of chances for Kane this year. He will only have to worry about whether or not he can stay fit in time for the World Cup in the second half of the season.

There is a relegation.

Brentford, Bournemouth, and Fulham are all located in the same area. When it looked like they might get dragged into the bottom half of the table last season, they lost Christian Eriksen to Man United. It's always difficult for newly promoted sides to keep their place in the top flight, and Bournemouth's summer recruitment doesn't seem to be good enough to keep them up.

The best keeper.

Both Man City andLiverpool are great attacking teams, but they are also very good defensively because opponents rarely have the ball. With Aymeric Laporte set to be out until at least September, Alisson is a good bet to win the Golden Glove.

Yellow cards are the most popular.

The person is Granit Xhaka. The way he plays isn't going to change because he's 29 Even if Mikel Arteta doesn't want him, he's still going to get on the wrong side of referees. Xhaka had more bookings than any other player last season, so he's a good bet to top the list this time around.

The winner of the European football tournament.

There is a city named Manchester. Man City will get over the line sooner rather than later due to the fact that they are regularly reaching the last 16 of the competition. The team is too good to not be. If Erling Haaland settles quickly, and if he can influence the biggest games at such a young age, then all the ingredients are there for a first European title.

The hope is that Sadio can replace some of the production of Robert.

Bundesliga

The top four.

I would have picked the team to win the title before Haller was diagnosed. With their new first baseman missing large chunks of the season, the team dropped to two in my power ranking. For the 11th time in a row, there is only one logical choice to win the league, and that is FCB. The teams behind the two powerhouses may struggle in the first half of the season due to their strong squad.

After early setbacks, they should be able to recover quicker and get to third place. It's not necessarily the most exciting side in the league, but it's the one that gets the job done.

1st place: Bayern Munich 2nd place: Borussia Dortmund 3rd place: Bayer Leverkusen

4th place: VfL Wolfsburg

Teams that have been demoted.

It's possible that this season will be the season in which Augsburg goes down. Outside of one or two outlier seasons, Augsburg have usually been in survival mode. Their new manager has no top-flight experience, as he was most recently the coach of the reserve team. Keeping the team in the league might be difficult.

The second team that will be demoted is Werder Bremen, who have made smart signings, but still don't have enough quality to finish above the bottom of the table.

The top scorer of all time.

He could easily be one of Europe's top strikers if he stayed healthy. The Czech's career has been hampered by injuries and ankle issues, yet if he is fit, he will turn into a goal scorer. He has it all and is tall and technical. He should be able to score 25 goals with the help of his teammates.

The best keeper.

These two will work behind stable defences and rarely make any mistakes, making this a close race between them. Kobel had his breakthrough recently, while Neuer has been a top goalkeeper for a decade. The 24-year-old Swiss doesn't seem to have much to worry about. He has to give up to Neuer one more time.

Yellow cards are the most popular.

A few players in the league have made a habit of picking up yellow cards. Even the highly gifted English international Jude Bellingham gets in the books every other weekend even though he seems head and shoulders above most of his competitors. I pick Bell to get the most yellow cards. The 30-year-old is too slow and old school in his approach to defending. He will get at least 10 bookings this year because of some bad tackles.

The winner of the European football tournament.

We shouldn't get carried away by early-season results, but the performance against Leipzig in the German Supercup makes you think that this side might be better now than before Robert Lewandowski left. Without a traditional target player up front the manager will use some of the tactical ideas that have been in the back of his mind. I think that if they keep their team healthy, they will win the cup.

A hero's welcome is given to Dybala as he is introduced as a player.

Serie A

The top four of all time.

I have a huge caveat in writing this. Major changes are likely to take place between now and the end of the month because the window doesn't close until the end of the month. I have the right to make different predictions. I think we're going to see another Milanese derby for the title, with the arrival of Romelu Lukaku and "Prince" Charles de Ketelaere helping Milan.

Paul Pogba's injury situation needs to be closely watched. With the addition of Paulo Dybala, and the fact that Kalidou Koulibaly is no longer with Napoli, the Giallorossi appear to be in a good position to win the title.

1st place: Inter 2nd place: AC Milan 3rd place: Juventus

4th place: Napoli

The top scorer.

I think it's a three way race between Lazio's Ciro Immobile, Romelu Lukaku and Dusan Vlahovic. I think Simone Inzaghi will change the attack to make it more centre-forward focused, and Immobile is a year older, so I'm picking him. Will he be fit? Angel Di Maria's condition is unknown.

There is a relegation.

Sampdoria, Salernitana, Cremonese are all located in Italy. Cremonese lost four key contributors to their promotion run who went back to their parent clubs. Last year, Salernitana pulled off a miracle. I'm backing Lecce to stay up because Sampdoria are a mess financially and operate on a shoestring.

The best keeper.

A man named Mike Maignan. He conceded the lowest number of goals in the league. I don't know who Inter's starting keeper will be, so Maignan is the better bet.

Yellow cards are the most popular.

There is a person named Gianluca Mancini in the city of Rome. He was the leader of the league last year and he is expected to lead the team again this year. The team that had the second-most yellow cards last season was the one that looks to be in a good position to win the title. Maybe it's because you're taking more risks because of Jose's intensity.

The winner of the European football tournament.

There is a city named Manchester. I might change my mind a lot between now and the start of the season. I feel that last season took so much out of the Reds, that Kylian Mbappe didn't join Real Madrid, and that the new coach at Paris Saint-Germain doesn't know anything.

Thiago Silva said that he wanted to join him at a new club.

Ligue 1

The top four.

Paris will be the stronger of the two. The team played well in the Trophée des Champs and the new manager was able to keep it that way. Who can finish in the top four is more interesting than who can finish in the bottom four. Laczette, Tolisso, and Tagliafico were recruited by Lyon. Nice has a good chance of doing well thanks to the recruitment of Lucien Favre. The team that is going through a crisis with their new manager will not be able to participate.

1st place: PSG 2nd place: Lyon 3rd place: Monaco

4th place: Nice

The top scorer of all time.

There is a person named KylianMbappe. He scored 28 goals last season, 27 the year before, and 18 before that. This is the year when he will get over 30 goals for the third season in a row. He will be even stronger on the pitch now that he has more responsibility. With Messi and Neymar already looking sharp, and Paris' good recruitment this summer, Kylian Mbappe will star even more.

There is a relegation.

Lorient, Troyes, and Auxerre are all located in France. It's important to stay up this season as four teams are going down and the league is going back to 18 clubs. Auxerre and Toulouse are two of the clubs fighting for the title. Toulouse's project is promising and they have been smart. It's going to be difficult for Auxerre. It's the same for Lorient and their manager. There are disagreements between players and the manager at Troyes.

The best keeper.

Walter was the winner with 14 clean sheets. He has been replaced by a new one. Donnarumma is this season's winner. Galtier has chosen the Italian as his number one so he will play every league game and keep clean sheets. Alexander Nubel and Monaco could be there as well.

Yellow cards are the most popular.

There is a person named Facundo Medina. There are more than one contender. Marco Verratti won the award last season with 12. The 3rd season was Medina's 11th. He should be the top player this year. He is an aggressive defender. It is the correct fit.

The winner of the European football tournament.

I write about this every summer. The squad is a lot better than it was last year. The new manager will make this squad click and the magic of Messi, Neymar, and Mbapp, as well as the leadership of Ramos, will do the rest. It sounds like "Paris, champion of Europe".
