After completing an internal review of how it supports travel agents, Celebrity Cruises has hired four new sales people.

As the line announced a suite of new tools and resources to help agents, it confirmed the appointments of a new business development manager and field sales manager.

Victoria Snelgar has joined as sales planning and activation manager after working as a retail store manager.

She wants to increase agents' sales and earn more money on Celebrity Cruises.

The UK Shipping Concierge, which provides support to maritime businesses looking to enter the UK market, is one of the things Snelgar has learned from her previous travel roles.

In April, Celebrity pledged to "go back to basics" and reexamine how it manages travel partner accounts after business development manager and strategic account manager left the line.

They need to be able to work with the sales team, the Celebrity team and of course trade partners.

A field sales manager has been promoted and a trade support manager has returned from maternity leave.

Celebrity reward points have been reintroduced for every agent booking cabin grades below balcony accommodations. There will be a focus group in Scotland.

When booking an Inside or Oceanview stateroom, agents can earn a minimum of £5 and a maximum of £10.

When booking cabins in The Retreat, they can earn up to 20 bucks.

Reward points can be used to redeem Mastercards, onboard gifts, and donations to industry charities.

The first printed brochure will be filled with brand and product information and will be sent out based on trade feedback. The printed version will be released in September.

Stirrup said there was more information on The Retreat and what guests could do before departure. There are no prices, only lead-in prices, and more information on the ship.

The digital selling guide features ship fact sheets, deck plans and itineraries.

Celebrity Central, the line's agent portal, will give a new look and feel to the guide, which can be downloaded from the home page.

There are a lot of new people at agencies. It's easy to use the guide for reference.

Up to $200 onboard credit person on all bookings made by September 21 will be included in a new sales campaign which launches today.

When booking a room for four people, the discount will be applied to the fourth guest.
