  • Alex Jones's legal team wants a jury to award the lowest amount possible.

  • The parents should get eight dollars for their pain, according to an attorney for Jones.

  • The attorney told jurors to consider his millions of viewers.

The parents of a Sandy Hook shooting victim were offered eight dollars by the attorney for Alex Jones.

The amount of money was revealed by Jones' attorney as attorneys offered their closing arguments in the case, asking jurors to consider specific amounts of money that the family of the shooting victim should be awarded.

The parents of the Sandy Hook victim deserved $150 million in damages due to the conspiracy campaign that Jones led on his network, according to an attorney who represented them.

The families deserved a total of eight dollars in damages.

Alex Jones made a mistake by running with a story. I don't think giving money for mental health is supported by the evidence.

Jones testified during the trial that damages over $2 million would cause his channel to go out of business. Mark Bankston told Jones that his attorney had leaked incriminating phone data to the team.

Bankston said his attorneys messed up and sent him a digital copy of his cell phone. You lied to me when you said you didn't have text messages.

The jury will begin deliberations on Thursday after Jones testified that the mass shooting was real.

The mainstream media amplified his "mistake" as he said that Jones's platform is small.

He made a plea to the jury about threats to media freedom.

"Alex Jones isn't for everyone, but millions of Americans tune in to be informed, entertained, and have their voices heard," he said.
