United Launch Alliance Atlas V launch of SBIRS GEO 6

The Atlas V rocket mission is scheduled for Thursday. At 6:29 a.m., that flight is scheduled to take off. The sixth and last Space Based Infrared System satellite for the U.S. Space Force will be launched on October 10th.

The SBIRS GEO 6 is intended to be a missile detection early warning system for the Space Force. The launch will take place at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. ULA will broadcast the launch on its website and on the internet. You can receive launch updates at 11pm. The ULA mission page is open in a new tab.

ULA wrote in a mission overview that the SBIRS is the "tip of the spear" for global missile warning as threats to the world grow. SpaceX's Danuri moon probe launch for South Korea

The rocket launch quartet will end with the lofting of the Korea Pathfinder lunar Orbiter mission on a Falcon 9 rocket. The liftoff time is 7:08 pm. There is a space launch complex in Florida. It will take about 15 minutes for the launch to begin on the company's website. You can watch it live on the KARI YouTube page.

The Danuri is the name of the South Korean moon mission. The purpose of the mission is to look for landing sites for future missions, and to study magnetic anomalies on the moon.

There have been every mission to the moon.

The moon's magnetic signature, search for water ice on the surface and test of Earth-to-moon communications technologies are some of the things that will be studied by the spacecraft. Scientists with the Korea research institute are in charge of the mission.

Danuri will be the second launch to the moon by the company. While Beresheet was delivered to the moon, the landers crashed into the lunar surface. The Beresheet 2 mission is expected to take place in the year 2024.

The Danuri orbiter will be launched on a trajectory to the moon and will be in a position to land on the moon.
