The sequel to the Oscar-winning smash hit starring Joaquin Phoenix has been in the works for some time and will be released on October 4, 2024, five years after the original. The title of the film, at least according to co-writer and director ToddPhillips' script, is "cootie Deux", which roughly means "shared madness." Unless, of course, it was a musical based on the movie "The Dark Knight".
