An instruction manual was included with the outfit Bey wore on her album cover.
According to Vogue, Nusi Quero gave a video of how to install it to Bey.
Quero said he found the materials for the piece during a stroll through Los Angeles.
The installation video for the silver body harness that Bey wore on the cover of "Renaissance" came with it.
In an interview with Vogue's Alice Newbold, designer Nusi Quero said he used materials he found during a "scavenger hunt stroll" through Los Angeles to make a piece for Bey. Quero told the outlet that he doesn't have formal fashion training and that he is still learning how to construct garments with fabric.
The base of the singer's body art was made out of a half-spiked chrome grid. The piece had to be applied in six to eight different sections.
Quero told Vogue that the work took only a week and a half to figure out. I discovered it as it happened and put it together. I think it's great to make things this way, but it can be frustrating for people who want traditional sketches and processes.
Quero said that the singer's new album is "graceful, sexy, compositionally flawless and shows Bey as an empowering and brave artist and woman."
Quero did not reply immediately.
Quero has worked with many celebrities. A year ago, the creative shared a photo on the social media site. He collaborated with a tattoo artist to create a full-scale back tattoo for the singer.
Quero said in the interview that he makes work that is outside of the current culture.
The album has received positive reviews, but it has also been controversial since it was released. A representative for the star told Insider that the lyrics would be changed after she received backlash for using ableist language.
Monica Lewinsky joined fans who were responding to the change on the social networking site. There is a reference to the affair between Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky in the song "Partition".
Kelis called out Bey for not having the decency to contact her before interpolating her song on the album. There was a sample in the song.
