According to a release from the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, a Republican member of congress from Indiana died in a car crash.
The passenger car traveled left of center and hit the sports utility vehicle. The three people who died in the vehicle were from the south.
Walorski was killed along with her communications director and district director.
Walorski was a member of the House of Representatives for the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana. She was the ranking member of the House Ethics Committee. She was the ranking member of the Worker and Family Support Subcommittee.
Walorski was a news reporter, a nonprofit director and a Christian missionary before he joined Congress. She was elected to Indiana's House of Representatives in 2005 and held it for five years.
