A Filipino American mixed martial artist stopped an attacker after seeing him hit another man.

According to reports, Ro Malabanan was going to work when he saw a homeless man sucker- punch a construction worker in SoHo.

The MMA fighter chased after the construction worker after witnesses said that he had attacked other men.

I just kicked in. Malabanan said in the video that he jumped on the man's back. I pinned him to the ground after he tried to swing me off of him.

A restaurant worker was shot multiple times trying to protect his business.

Six men were allegedly attacked by Frazier. Some of his victims attacked him while he was pinned to the ground. The MMA expert told them to call the police. The attacker was subdued by the man.

The attacker has been charged with two counts of assault.

The ruling that the man who killed three Asian men with a hammer is not responsible because of mental illness angers the widows.

Malabanan moved to the U.S. with his family at the age of 9. He is teaching boxing in New York. Malabanan said he was harassed because of his race. He said that he is thankful that he was able to stop someone from harming others.

Malabanan said that a lot of crazies are in the streets. They will sucker- punch you. Some people out there are just looking for a reason to cause trouble because it is so hot in New York.
