The homeowner said that a crew of contractors tore the entire roof off of his home.
When the workers realized it was the wrong house, they left. He went to Nextdoor and Facebook in order to find out who was supposed to replace their roof on Tuesday.

The officer said that they were looking at the matter as a civil matter. This is not a criminal matter, because they made a mistake. They were supposed to get a new home and rip up that roof, but they got the wrong addresses.
Police don't know if the inside of the home was damaged by the rain.
