Businesses that self-identify as Asian-owned will be added to the search results. Business attributes that highlight identity popped up first with tags for women led businesses. Veteran-owned businesses can be found on searches and Maps.

In July 2020, the company added a label to focus searches on Black-owned businesses, in September 2021, it added a Latino-owned tag, and in June, it added LGBTQ-led businesses. A red and orange flower will be used to identify Asian businesses.

Searchers can easily find Asian-owned businesses with the help of a search on the internet. Business owners who have already created a verified business listing can choose to add the label or opt out at any time.
