Two more Republicans who voted to impeach Trump are in danger of losing their seats. Early Wednesday morning, the races were close.

The former president mounted a relentless campaign to force the representatives out of office after ten House Republicans voted to impeach him. Heading into Tuesday, only two of the ten had faced a primary. In California's jungle primary, Rep. David Valadao finished a distant second to Democrat Rudy Salas and is almost certain to lose his seat in the general election. In the GOP primary for South Carolina's 7th Congressional District, Rice was defeated by Russell Fry by more than 26 percentage points.

There was an unprecedented break from the party by these 10 Republicans.

The S.C. Republican who voted to impeach Trump lost the primary in a mixed night for candidates backed by the ex-president.
