Brandon Drury was traded to the San Diego Padres by the Cincinnati Reds. The deadline is ate time.
Details of the deal were initially reported by Ken Rosenthal and C. Trent Rosecrans.
He was the sixth-ranked prospect in the Padres' farm system. He is batting.243 with two homers, 11 runs, and five stolen bases in 112 minor league games.

He was a bright spot for the Reds, as he slashed.270/.335/.520 with 20 home runs and 59RBI in 92 games. The veteran has played for a number of teams but never hit more than 16 home runs in a single season.
As the Padres look to mix-and- match their now loaded lineup, they will be able to use Drury all across the infield as he is currently in the middle of a playoff race.
