The sequel to Jetpack Joyride is going to be exclusive to Apple Arcade. On August 19th, you will be able to play Jetpack Joyride 2 on Apple's $4.99 per month games subscription service.

The second game in the Jetpack Joyride series is a side-scroller where the goal is to dodge obstacles, survive as long as you can, and accumulate coins. According to an Apple press email, Jetpack Joyride 2 will be a story-driven experience with new mechanics, which is enough for me to want to play it right away.

Apple has a trailer and someScreenshots on the Jetpack Joyride 2 App Store page to give you an idea of what to expect. The original Jetpack Joyride has no ads or in-app purchases, so you can brush up on your jetpacking skills before the sequel comes out.

I look forward to driving the UFO.

You're not wrong if you feel like you've heard of it before. The game was soft-launched in March of 2021. Halfbrick pulled it from both the App Store and the Play Store, saying it had entered a new closed phase of development.

My Talking Tom and Love You to Bits are two of the games that will be added to Arcade in August. The games that were leaving the service were announced by Apple in July.
