A man who was arrested at Windsor Castle while carrying a crossbow was charged with treason under a law that criminalizes carrying a weapon in the Queen's presence.
Jaswant Singh Chail was charged with possession of an offensive weapon and threats to kill.
The charges were the result of an investigation by the counter terrorism command.
Chail will be in court.
