According to Doug Pederson, the quarterback will not play in the Hall of Fame Game.
The running back, who missed his first season with an injury, won't be playing. Etienne has been a full participant in training camp even though he isn't practicing Tuesday. Pederson wants to be careful with the 25th pick of the draft.
"He's gotten a lot of great looks here in practice," Pederson said. He is in a good place.
C.J. Beathard won't play against the Raiders because of a groin injury he suffered in the off-season. Jake will be in the starting lineup.
Pederson said that they are still evaluating their roster. A lot of young guys and a lot of battles are what we want to see in game situations.
