The Astros defeated the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. The veteran allowed two hits and struck out a season-high eight in a seven-inning no-hitter against Seattle.
He missed 42 games this season due to a lower left leg injury. He won a career-high 15 games in his last season with the Twins.
Smith has three saves with the Braves this season. The left-handed pitcher has 91 career saves and a 3.61 earned run average.
